We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and highly motivated product manager like you to help shape the future of iCloud services across iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS - the software platforms that bring the iPhone, iPad , Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV to life. As the next iCloud Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining new features that will shape the future of iCloud services. This includes working both inbound and outbound to drive the development, introduction, maintenance, and/or obsolescence of features and technologies. At Apple, we combine product development and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Marketing role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization. As a Product Manager, your objective is to represent the needs of the user from the development, through the introduction, growth, engagement and retention. Project responsibilities can range from features like Backup, iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, iCloud Storage plans and more. Sound interesting? Here’s what we seek in you:

Key Qualifications

  • A real passion for great products
  • Software application, operating system, core technology, digital service or related industry background
  • Experience in consumer web services
  • Experience as a marketing lead in a cross-functional product development organization
  • Experience as a marketing lead in an integrated, outbound marketing organization
  • Experience working with media on high-profile technology products
  • Excellent written, spoken and presentation abilities
  • Domestic and international travel required

Description

Provide marketing leadership from development and introduction through obsolescence of your product, seeing opportunities, articulating issues and making clear recommendations Research and synthesize industry, technology, market and competitive trends to build expertise and identify new product horizons Understand and communicate user needs and perspectives to inspire the broader organization, and help conceptualize new products Negotiate product trade-offs impacting cost, schedule and usability to improve user experience Collaborate with software engineers and product designers to bring new software products to life Position products and craft compelling end-user messaging for the highest impact Launch products worldwide in conjunction with marketing communications, public relations and events teams Travel the world as an ambassador for Apple products, working with industry, customers and press Evaluate user feedback and integrate key insights back into the organization

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
