We are looking for a graphics authority to assess software and hardware quality through testing of a wide range of professional applications on macOS products. This is a chance to put your knowledge of current industry workflows–from motion graphics to photography to VR–towards driving the quality of future Apple products. In this role, you'll be testing, automating, leading, and working closely with others to ensure product quality. You will be expected to design, create, and run manual and automated tests on complex and challenging projects. We want an excellent communicator who is comfortable presenting, has prior QA experience, and can demonstrate technical depth in both hardware and software. Key Qualifications

  • Broad experience with professional software across the graphics spectrum (examples: Nuke, Maya,Adobe CC Suite, Unreal)
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages and the ability to create and execute automated tests and workflows
  • 5+ years experience as a QA engineer, preferably on professional software/hardware products
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills—including proven presentation skills & experience
  • Technical knowledge of graphics and video technologies, formats, codecs, and content standards
  • In-depth knowledge of macOS
  • Ability to think creatively, problem solve and innovate
  • Proven ability to work under high pressure and comfortable working in a dynamic environment

Description

- Develop, design and execute manual and automated tests for compatibility of Apple hardware and software projects - Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback - Develop comprehensive test plans and other test documentation as required - Identify, reproduce, and isolate bugs, thoroughly document and drive them towards resolution - Work closely with, and clearly communicate with a variety of teams - Track graphics industry technological and workflow trends to implement new tests, testing tools and strategies

Education & Experience

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or graphics-related field or equivalent
