Join the fast-paced Product Operations team. In this highly visible role, you will lead the Operations technical team during the next generation product’s development and high volume production. As the technical lead for a product line, you will partner closely with multiple cross-functional teams during all phases of development to enable the product success.

Description

• Influence design decisions that affect the performance of a new un- released product • Design, develop and implement cutting edge quality inspection tools • Identify key risk for overall product’s functional dimensional and cosmetic excellence, quantify problem and direct studies to implement improvements as appropriate • Interact with cross functional teams that include engineering, marketing, operations and reliability to understand new product’s field performance • Develop and implement new technologies and test to enhance product quality • Ensure operational technical readiness for all phases of the introduction cycle • Own and drive key operational metrics including yield and UPH to ensure complete ramp readiness • Drive process development, optimization and validation • Provide regular VP level communication of technical health of program. • Monitor Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) and Customer Audit (CA) processes at OEM sites. • Manage quality escalation • Drive on-going product improvements with OEM partners • Support AppleCare Service & Engineering on specific requests • Leads Weekly product improvement forums • Support and attend new product development builds as required

Education & Experience

• BS or MS degree in Engineering in preferred • MBA a plus
