The AppleCare Online Content Services Team is looking for a skilled manager to lead a social content team that is producing videos and multi-media social posts. The role interacts with partners across the business and requires superb collaboration, communication, organization and content production abilities. You will partner closely with video production teams, social team leads and strategists, marketing, engineering and localization teams to meet the needs of a global audience and help develop new streams of learning content.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience working with multiple content reviewers and incorporating feedback from marketing, social and engineering
  • Superb interpersonal skills with an ability to juggle multiple projects on tight timelines
  • Experience writing on platforms like Twitter and storyboarding experience with video development
  • Experience writing, editing and programming content in a CMS
  • Familiarity with multi-media customer support content
  • Experience collaborating with writers for videos and social content, visual designers, SEO, and subject matter experts
  • Excellent verbal, written and the ability to express ideas clearly and diplomatically
  • Experience handling content in multiple languages
  • Real passion for providing a great user experience
  • Demonstrated track record of success managing a content team and working with multi-media content

Description

- Manage writers and relationships with production teams and external vendors crafting multi-media social posts - Align with social leads on content strategy. Ensure that content is relevant, findable, accurate and targets the needs of AppleCare Online visitors - Use editorial and image guidelines to build quality content that meets the team’s Key Performance Indicator goals - Execute against an editorial calendar for all initiatives and ensure that the content team completes tasks by agreed-upon deadlines - Give constructive guidance to your team. Suggest ways to improve content and apply data and feedback - Manage content projects and communicate editorial needs and updates to key stakeholders - Incorporate SEO recommendations and work with localization teams to create global content - Look for ways to improve the team’s content — keep raising the bar

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in technical communication, writing/composition, or similar field. Master’s degree in technical communication preferred
