Key Qualifications

  • Experience in fixed assets or related field, preferably in a multinational corporate environment or a combination of experience within a corporate environment and a public accounting or consulting firm or other relevant experience
  • Ability to gain an understanding of the functionality of various systems
  • High proficiency with data analysis and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database tools
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables with competing timelines
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally on projects
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of driving a strong controls environment
  • High level of ethics, integrity, judgment, discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Results-oriented and demonstrates initiative in driving efficiencies
  • Prefer experience in a technology company with a strong retail emphasis

Description

• Analyzing capital purchases and recording the cost of the newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible) • Tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets in the SAP Fixed Asset Accounting module • Preparing accounting analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, quarterly schedules and reporting, analysis of construction-in-progress and fixed assets inventory audits • Ensuring financial data is recorded in accordance with established company policies and GAAP and ensuring SOX controls compliance

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA or Masters preferred
