The Merchandising Programs & Engagement Manager is responsible for driving the in-store merchandising programs, engagement, and communication strategies that bring our Accessories products to life. With a clear sense of priorities and cross-functional approach, this individual will have accountability for driving business results through innovative strategies to reach and educate our employees. Based in Cupertino, this role will coordinate accessories programs across Geos and Worldwide Merchandising, and serve as the face of Merchandising briefs to cross-functional groups such as Retail Communications, Retail Technology, Ownership & Operations, and Retail Training, as well as to Retail Field Leadership.

  • BA/BS or equivalent degree.


•Employee Communication: Strategic lead for internal Accessories-related communications through RetailMe, Loop and AppleWeb, including AB and 3PP launches. Develop all Communication Briefs with partners to animate specific merchandising moments and goals. Drive Accessories and Merchandising integration in new employee-facing communication platforms to enhance engagement on product knowledge and feedback. Communicate Merchandising priorities and partner on quarterly planning for communications vehicles such as video and in-store modules. •Ownership & Training Liaison: Own briefing process for cross-functional teams and partner on Seasonal Campains. Develop role-specific educational content, including learning materials and how-to’s for in-store demos and key Merchandising Priorities. •Vendor Programs: Lead vendor communication and development for store and contact center Merchandising and Accessories training. Measure results and track feedback to drive meaningful improvements and innovative approaches. •Market Communication: Serve as the face of Merchandising to Field leadership (Market Directors, Market Leaders). Deliver weekly Merchandising communication, priority setting, and performance tracking. •Cross-Geo Alignment: Maintain alignment across Geo leads in London and Shanghai, and update on weekly communication and engagement strategy from the center.
