Now there are more than two million. And so our team challenged ourselves: How can we offer more perspective and insight? How do we showcase the work of creative developers? How can we make the App Store a place our hundreds of millions of customers will want to visit every single day? We’re hiring people who want to help make that happen. We are looking for a Direct Marketing Manager to join the App Store team. You will build, manage and optimize global direct marketing programs to help customers discover phenomenal apps that improve their lives and drive business growth.

Key Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in Direct Marketing, with expertise in email, push notifications and in-app messaging programs
  • Extensive experience in developing lifecycle marketing programs, ideally for a major mobile gaming or mobile subscription brand
  • Experience managing CRM and marketing automation tools
  • Built integrated marketing programs that reach the customer at the right time with the right message
  • Ability to lead the campaign calendar from quarterly planning to the day-to-day approval process
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with and being a key partner on large international teams is a plus
  • Strategic thinker and analytical mindset. Also, able to roll up their sleeves and to get the job done
  • Extraordinary communication and presentation skills, ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a sense of urgency, with shown experience working on large-scale complex, time-critical projects
  • Driven, energetic and focused with a strong desire to learn and succeed


As the Direct Marketing Manager, you will be tasked with building and managing direct marketing programs that utilize innovative channels to drive traffic to the App Store. You will collaborate with a broad range of teams, including international marketing, product, growth marketing, editorial, operations, and creative teams to develop these programs. You will also be responsible for measuring the results and continual optimization through testing.

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field, preferred
