Apple’s Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization supports tens of thousands of Apple employees, customers and vendors on just about every topic under the sun. We offer advice and develop innovative solutions to challenging problems that come up all around the world. We are seeking an experienced analyst to be part of the Order to Cash Team in Austin, Texas. This position will provide project support and drive process improvement initiatives for the Americas Consumer Receivables Team.

Description

• Technical and analytical abilities with a desire for driving improvements in process and system automation. • Coordinate with non-Finance groups to analyze root cause of individual transaction exceptions and provide solutions to upstream processes that will prevent future issues. • Manage large sets of data and know how to consume and present. • Assist in the streamlining, automation and development of scalable processes and systems • Working closely with Information Systems & Technology, Order-to-Cash, and various Business Finance groups to ensure that root causes are identified, processes are sustainable, scalable, and produce accurate results • Collaborate with the business team, IS&T, the Global Process Organization, and the Global Finance Projects Team to define as-is and to-be business processes and systems; develop business requirements documents for global applications; and conduct gap/fit analyses for potential solutions • Represent the business in reviews of process and systems controls, and the development of project schedules taking into account seasonal volume spikes, period close activities, etc. • Actively participate in data validation activities prior to system conversions • Coordinating user acceptance test activities including scheduling resources, and creating and executing use cases • Ready the business team and impacted business partners for systems implementations through effective communications and end user training • Provide regular project updates to management • Attend appropriate meetings to stay abreast of other initiatives and process changes underway within the organization

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
