Key Qualifications

  • You will have 15 years and core competencies in system and chip architecture:
  • Proven expertise in SOC hardware architecture (low power architecture, microprocessor, memory, storage, display, graphics, video, and media), hardware-software interfaces, inter-chip interconnect & bus protocols, wireless interfaces, power regulation, peak power management & battery charging architectures, system signal-integrity & power supply integrity analysis, and system desense & coexistence mitigation
  • Deep understanding of software including firmware, OS, and applications
  • Authorship of detailed specifications, performance, and power models
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills (cross-functional and executive)
  • Excellent documentation skills

Description

As a member of the Systems Architecture team, you will be collaborating with the teams responsible for system, silicon, SW, and mechanical design. Your responsibilities will include: Guide product architecture so features may be used across multiple systems Develop new features with a 3-5 year time horizon Assess and guide product system integration feasibility, feature & implementation trade-offs of new technologies Collaborate over optimal performance/power tradeoffs, use cases, and programming paradigms Imagine new system architectures - Review, challenge, & influence cross-functional roadmaps Create and review internal and external specifications for features and chips Define and model product performance and energy consumption Define, develop, and utilize tools, scripts, and other methods of system analysis Predict & prepare for future product system integration & interconnect needs

Education & Experience

EE/CS Masters or PhD
