We offer advice and develop innovative solutions to challenging problems that come up all around the world. We are seeking a senior billing accountant with a strong accounting background and SOX experience to manage Order to Billing internal controls, perform the O2C accounting close, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive process improvements through billing BI reporting and analytics. In this role, you will mange Order to Billing SOX key controls and operational controls for the Order to Cash organization.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of billing processes, accounting, and SOX controls
  • Consistent track record of driving process improvement, system automation, and operational metrics
  • Curiosity of end-to-end transaction flows with a strong desire to “connect the dots” between the upstream and downstream systems and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced spreadsheet and data analytical skills
  • Strong customer service and business partnership skills
  • Experience working with automated accounting systems
  • Attention to detail and strong ability to deliver timely and accurate results in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, work independently, be a self-starter
  • Prior experience with SAP preferred
  • Internal controls and public accounting experience is a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus

Description

• Perform daily and weekly operational audits for O2C • Support initiatives related to the Order to Billing SOX key controls • Support O2C accounting close activities and perform balance sheet reconciliations • Respond to requests and inquiries from external auditors, internal auditors, and Technical Accounting • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, including, but not limited to SOX documentation, standardization of processes across regions, systems, etc. • Support and back up other team members as needed • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities

Education & Experience

• BA or BS in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field
