The WW Channel Sales Programs (WW CSP) team is responsible for the strategic management of Apple’s global retail programs across all channel routes to market. Apple’s main channel routes to market include Telco, Consumer Electronics, Mass Merchants, mono-brand retail stores and online retailers and marketplaces. We develop retail programs solving for sales, customer experience and branding, while considering global scale. You will manage Digital programs and drive key digital initiatives across Apple’s channel routes to market, considering both online and in-store environments. As the subject matter expert on the role of digital technologies in retail, you will provide leadership and apply managerial acumen in your engagements with the various organizational functions across Apple. Key partners with whom your leadership will help drive alignment and a high degree of coordination with are the WW SP&O Digital Channel team and the WW CSP Technologies team. Your ability to communicate both a strategic direction as well as the tactical details with absolute clarity to a cross functional team is a critical success factor for this role. This role will be responsible for managing Digital programs from conception to deployment to sustaining and growth. Digital programs aim to drive the best in class customer experience considering all avenues of customer engagement across brick-and-mortar and online environments. Initiatives will require working and aligning with cross-functional partners such as Digital Channel, CSP Technology, Marketing, BPR, IS&T, the Finance team and more. A key aspect of the cross-functional management role is aligning all of these functions on a common strategy and goal and then managing the cross-functional teams through execution of the plan to reach these goals. This role needs exceptional relationship skills and be able to present to internal and external senior executives. You should be skilled at distilling complex and disparate data into easy-to-understand narratives. You are expected to use your own business insight to identify future areas of opportunity for how digital technologies can improve, enable the customer experience. You should have a proven track record of developing a digital roadmap, project management, solution implementation and performance reporting.
- Program manage Digital Program initiatives from conception to deployment to ongoing life cycle management across In-store and online environments
- Project manage cross-functionally across teams within Sales Planning & Operations, Sales, Marcom, Finance, Operations, and Procurement
- Understand Apple Channel’s Sales and Marketing strategies, our retail Partner landscape and establish oneself as a business inspiring leader on enhancing the Apple customer experience through digital technology programs
- Lead forums with key partners to discuss Digital Programs requirements and priorities
- Keep current on retail technology trends and opportunities; providing business recommendations to guide future Digital Program developments
POSITION REQUIREMENTS - 10 years digital program and/or project management experience - People management experience - Retail, Technology, Consulting/Agency background - Hands on experience managing retail and/or consumer digital programs and solutions - e-commerce and omni-channel acumen - Experience with a global brand with regional executions - Exceptional relationship skills dealing with all levels including senior executives - Strategic and tactical vision - Commercial and brand orientated - Exceptional verbal and written communications skills - Excellent analytical skills. - Ability to be effective in both direct and virtual team leadership, and managing through influence. - Experience in working with international teams of different cultural backgrounds - Proficient in Keynote, Pages/Word, and Excel.
