In this highly visible role, you will work with display and SOC architects, SOC RTL design and verification teams, and display technology teams to support the developments of the SOC display architectures across Apple’s iOS products. Apple is looking for a motivated, ambitious individual to develop behavioral and transactional models for Apple’s next generation of SOC display sub-systems.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in software development and video display engineering
  • Strong software engineering and programming skills in C++ and scripting languages such as Python and Lua
  • Experience in developing functional model of Hardware IP
  • Experience in automating workflows
  • Experience in image/video processing


As a member of the Platform Architecture team, you will be responsible the development of SOC Display C-models and architecture validation to ensure accuracy of the models, including modeling the memory system interactions. Responsibilities include: Implement and maintain bit-accurate C/C++ reference functional models Develop architecture tests and image quality validation tools to verify correct functionality of the models Create reference code that exercises new hardware designs Develop and maintain automated workflows for the architecture validation process Work with design and verification teams to debug the design
