Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. The Siri Rotation Program is a large and growing effort to invest in young engineering talent in the Ai/ML Org. New College grads spend 18 months rotating through 6 teams across the entire org, build a deep understanding of how Siri and our core intelligence products work. At the completion of the program these engineers take everything they’ve learned, and all of the relationships they’ve build and apply them to one of those 6 teams full time. Your job as the Rotation Program lead is to mentor these young engineers, work with engineering partners across the org to generate and staff projects, and advocate for the program to senior executives across the company.

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years managing a team of engineering, product, program and/or project managers responsible for leading cross-functional product development
  • 3+ years industry experience working on large scale software solutions (either as an individual contributor or in management)
  • Experience managing highly complex software programs for consumer products at scale
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization
  • Innate drive to improve how things work, strong technical skills with an eye for design and user experience
  • Insatiable curiosity, not afraid to ask questions and dig deep into technical areas
  • Ability to directly and indirectly lead large teams for success
  • Prior experience working on speech and natural language products is a major plus
  • Ability to mentor young engineers at the beginning of their career
  • Communicate project status to leads and executives, present in executive reviews and coordinate product demos
  • Build strong relationships across Apple and facilitate communication between cross-divisional groups

Description

As the program lead you will: - Work with the recruiting and engineering teams to manage the recruiting pipeline for the program - Work with internal partners to organize the program’s orientation. - Work with engineering team and organization leads to generate and prioritize potential projects for engineers in the program. - Lead regular engineering syncs with engineers in the rotation program as well as provide mentorship and support through regularly scheduled one on one meetings.

Education & Experience

BA/BS DEGREE IN CS RELATED FIELDS IS PREFERRED
