Key Qualifications

  • You are well-rounded in performance verification and are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills. You have the desire to tackle diverse challenges. Requirements include:
  • Advanced knowledge of CPU & SOC architecture/design
  • Familiarity with verification environments and Verilog
  • Experience with low-level programming of complex computer systems in C/C++/assembly

Description

In this highly transparent role, as part of a highly talented team, the SoC Performance Verification Engineer will be at the heart of the chip design effort working with all disciplines (vertical product model) with critical impact in getting high-performing products to millions of customers quickly. Review specifications, develop test plans, tests & coverage plans, define methodology & test benches. Work closely with architecture, design & micro-architecture teams to understand the functional & performance goals of the design. Correlate RTL performance against model performance. Run regressions, handle bug tracking, analyze code & functional coverage...etc. Work independently & lead work you're doing to align with the project goals plus support multi-functional engineering efforts.

Education & Experience

BSEE or BSCS required; Master’s or PhD desired.
