The Video Applications QA team is seeking a Software QA Engineer to help us ensure that iOS and macOS video apps are rock-solid for video makers and visual storytellers. We’re looking for critical thinkers who would like to play a key role testing several of our graphics and imaging frameworks within our video applications on iOS software and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. - Strong understanding of SQA methodologies and practices
- 5 years software engineering experience preferred
- Experience testing graphics or media technologies preferred
- Detail-oriented, analytical, methodical and creative thinker committed to driving quality forward
- Inquisitive and ability to investigate and debug difficult problems
- Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- iOS and macOS familiarity preferred
- Video knowledge desirable
This role will provide quality assurance for several frameworks developed by the Video Apps team. Client level testing will also be necessary. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical, problem solving and communication skills, and the willingness to work in a fast paced environment. You will work closely with other team members to develop requirements, identify appropriate testing implementations processes, and methodologies. You should be able to be comfortable with ambiguity and make educated, critical judgments in the absence of complete requirements. Gather, monitor, and analyze test results to ensure the features work end-to-end for customers. You must be effective and systematic at managing priorities, and communicating progress as well as risk through regular status updates. Additional responsibilities will include design and implementation of test plans and test cases. Have a proven ability to ramp up quickly on both existing and new technologies.
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
