We are a rare Software Development group with a charter to secure our platforms that include iOS SW, iOS Devices and Mac. We build solutions that are used by our customers, our engineering teams and our manufacturing environments. We are looking for a meticulous technical project manager who can help organize/drive engineering tasks so that we can work effectively as a group. Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven technical knowledge in software engineering fields and infrastructure (h/w, network)
  • Experience with running the Infrastructure aspects is a plus
  • Self-starter with an ability to work independently
  • Meticulously analytical to study complex issues
  • Passionate about challenging tasks

Description

The group gets new engineering tasks as either improvement to the existing systems or an initiative to build new systems to meet the business requirements. In both cases, the work starts off with discussions/meetings with a business group to obtain clear understanding of what's needed. As a project manager, you will be participating in these discussions and meetings along with engineering managers to collect/define/plan what needs to be accomplished. This initial phase will also involve spawning internal discussions with engineering managers as well as the infrastructure teams to further understand the capability of the existing systems to reach consensus on whether to use them or to build a new one. Once it gets past this planning and investigation phase, it's time to work closely with all the partners to define tasks and track them so that we are on target in delivering the solution. From this point on, its project management 101 to make sure that all the dependent pieces are moving orderly. Every step of the way till the completion of the project, the engineering/infrastructure teams will look to the project manager to help them prioritize and focus to maximize the level of efforts to meet the dedications in time with the highest quality. As needed, you may be required to produce documentation to clarify the scope and direction of the solution to make sure everyone's on the same page.

Education & Experience

B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent major 3+ years of experience in relevant fields
