- Familiarity with version control and software development lifecycles
- Visualization skills with Omnigraffle, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools

Your starting assignments will include contributing artwork to world-class manuals and references for our internal tools, and improving existing, internally-developed illustrations. The work spans the entire editorial cycle from requirements gathering to publication. You’ll work with a writer, an editor, subject experts, executives, and others involved in the project. You’ll provide artwork for a variety of teams within Siri, providing 2D and 3D illustrations for: - Process flow - System architecture - Data visualization - System states - Use cases - API scenarios - Keynote slide decks To shine in this role you will bring a love of accuracy and clear explanation, excitement for the journey from zero to deep understanding on a topic you’re providing illustrations for, and social skills to identify, build relationships with, and interview subject experts. You thrive in a dynamic, highly-collaborative team environment. You welcome criticism, and favor counseling your audience over convincing them. You appreciate that effective communication benefits from many media, including combinations of words, illustrations, and animations. For a given project you can recommend various art approaches, writing approaches, or video. You have worked successfully with editors and writing managers, or are open to learning how to.
