Apple is looking for a collaborative, highly organized professional to serve as an Environment, Health and Safety assistance. As a key member of the EHS team this position will support the implementation of the Ergonomics program. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the ergonomics specialists daily schedule, processing incoming requests and fielding questions. Working closely with the program manager to ensure consistent, timely, and a high standard of service to our customers.

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent time management, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and experience handling multiple schedules and supporting incoming emails, requests for support, and other inquiries
  • Experience working with basic computer programs, database and Mac OS preferred
  • Strong desire to increase knowledge and skill base in the field of ergonomics and a real passion for working with people and enthusiasm in problem solving.

DESCRIPTION Service and process requests for ergonomic services. Verify employee training, prioritize requests and schedule appointments (e.g., office, lab and chair evaluations). Manage ergonomics email inbox. Responding to questions and issues and delegating response to appropriate staff. Assist with furniture and equipment requests and partner with Ergonomic Evaluators, internal Apple procedures, and Corporate Ergonomics Program manager as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction, lead-time and product quality are acceptable. Maintain consistency in response to requests for alternative solutions as the needs of our customers, products and technology change. Assist with processing low risk corporate office self-evaluation completions and verify training. Continually anticipate opportunities for process improvement and effectively communicate Program needs and recommendations to Corporate Program Manager.
