Embedded sensors group is part of the Core OS organization and is responsible for firmware, device drivers and frameworks related to input devices and always-on sensor coprocessor. We are looking for someone who can lead the charge on quality for one or more technology areas. This is a highly entrepreneurial team, always looking for innovative ways to improve status quo and solve difficult problems in new and better ways. Successful candidate will need to work with cross-functional teams to proactively develop strategies and plans for ensuring high quality of inputs and sensor technologies. The nature of the position requires the candidate to possess excellent analytical and debugging skills, strong communication skills, and a drive to make a difference. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, creative, motivated, and results driven.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience, some of which has been in a team lead position
  • Solid UNIX OS fundamentals
  • Experience with Python and C programming
  • Highly motivated, creative, and organized
  • Strong Verbal and Communication skills
  • Proven ability to ramp up quickly on both new technologies and appropriate existing technologies.

Description

Own overall testing and quality of the technologies for which you are responsible Design, develop and own automated tests for new and existing product features Investigate and analyze issues spanning across the hardware and software interaction layers Work closely with development, project management and cross-functional parters to drive excellent quality aligned with release schedules

Education & Experience

MS in CS / EE or equivalent experience
