The Internet Software & Services (IS&S) team at Apple provides our customers around the world with access to an incredible collection of content and experiences across music, movies, apps, books, iCloud, and much more. The business operations team for pricing and tax is responsible for managing prices, margins, availability, and tax compliance for all of IS&S’s businesses in 155 countries. We are looking to add a strategic thinker for a leading role across the team’s projects.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years in management consulting or in business operations and strategy at a technology company, with fast progression to roles of greater responsibility
  • Experience working with senior management and executive team's on strategy and business policy
  • Track record of leading a project from the strategy/policy phase through to implementation
  • Advanced analytical and presentation skills
  • Experience working on projects that involve knowledge of technical systems
  • Understanding of SQL and relational database systems


You will help our team make good strategic decisions and solve meaningful challenges across a diverse set of projects related to pricing and tax. Projects could include: - Designing a new pricing model for one of our businesses - Developing a broad policy that allows us to effectively and efficiently manage pricing across 155 countries - Determining how to adjust prices in response to tax changes - Crafting the pricing and tax-related requirements for new products and services we launch - Finding pragmatic ways to maintain compliance with tax legislation globally You will lead projects independently, taking on responsibility for becoming a subject matter expert. Evaluating business impacts, balancing sometimes conflicting input from functional experts, applying your business judgement, ensuring alignment, documenting decisions, and managing timelines. You will develop detailed knowledge of Apple’s systems and processes so your output details not only what is to be done but also how it will be achieved. All projects are deeply cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with product, tax, finance, legal, business, operations and technical teams. To be effective, you will need to build positive relationships with colleagues across the organization. Education & Experience

Bachelors or above. A degree in a science, math, engineering, computer science or a related field preferred
