The Video Original Content IS&T team is responsible for the technology strategy and delivery of IT systems used to enable Apple’s Video Original Content line of business. The team ensures technology and business strategy remain tightly aligned through multi-functional partnership, knowledge of industry trends, and familiarity with the Apple corporate systems landscape. Members work closely with leadership, business partners, software engineers, vendors, information security, and others to deliver systems (people, process, and technology) that meet the demands of a high growth organization. The Solutions Management role handles the planning, delivery, and sustainment of the systems utilized by Apple’s global Video Original Content division to run production and post-production activities. It is responsible for collaborating with business partners to understand needs, present options, and facilitate the selection, design, and delivery of solutions. This role is highly multi-functional, requiring a solid ability to align diverse teams on a common goal. A blend of business and technical acumen coupled with project management discipline is critical to success.

Key Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of production and post-production processes and their relationship to technology in a studio, production, or network environment
  • Experience implementing and/or supporting production and post-production systems in a studio, production, or network environment
  • Ability to analyze problems across a variety of facets to design holistic solutions
  • Proven history of leading small, medium, and large scale technology projects to successful delivery
  • Extraordinary problem solving and critical thinking skills

- Lead process and technology discussions across functionally and regionally disparate groups - Manage the delivery of new systems and extensions of existing systems capabilities - Collaborate with business partners to identify, vet, and prioritize technology needs - Evaluate complex challenges against a variety of factors and design short and long term strategies - Lead and/or participate in the development of functional requirements and technical specifications - Coordinate development efforts of vendors, contractors, and shared service groups - Engage with support functions such as procurement, vendor management, new product security, and information security to on-board new vendors and/or systems - Maintain close relationships with the Video Original Content production, post-production, and operations teams to ensure alignment - Develop and maintain a working knowledge of trends and standard methodologies within Apple

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
