We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented individual to lead the Apps Business Development Team for the App Store and help define the future of the mobile apps business at Apple. You will oversee new and existing partnerships for all non-gaming apps verticals, including entertainment, social networking, productivity, health and fitness and more. You will report to the Director of Business Management and will be responsible for driving the success of app developers within our ecosystem.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience across business development, partnership management and product management, ideally within the mobile app space
  • Track record of building and managing high-performing teams
  • Strong executive relationships at top mobile app companies across a variety of verticals
  • Deep knowledge of the mobile apps ecosystem with a fluency in common business models and app development standard practices
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical stills; finely tuned business judgement
  • Demonstrated ability to develop great presentations and present them to a number of audiences, including senior executives
  • Integrity, a sense of humor, and excellent interpersonal skills

Description

- Lead a team of Business Development managers to achieve measurable goals by helping app developers grow their business on the App Store - Build and maintain close relationships with top app partners - Identify and execute on new business development and partnership opportunities - Advocate for developer-centric platform improvements based on developer feedback, market research and internal analysis - Work with internal teams (product, marketing, legal, analytics) to gain support for product and policy initiatives - Help define growth strategies across app verticals

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree, MBA preferred
