The WW Advertising team at Apple provides oversight on Apple’s advertising activities worldwide. They are the essential to leading a productive relationship between Marcom and Apple’s advertising agency partners, including our primary creative agency Media Arts Lab (MAL). The role liaises with many different groups including: Finance, Legal, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Partner Communications, iTunes, Developer Relations, Online Store, Retail and Education. They also maintain strong relationships with partners around the world at Apple’s and MAL’s international offices. As such, developing and fostering healthy, productive, professional partnerships is an essential requirement of every member of the team. The Sr. Advertising Manager is responsible for overseeing a Pod (product group) to guide the strategic / creative development and production process to ensure quality, accuracy and internal communication of all advertising initiatives. The role is also critical to manage internal stakeholders and integrate paid work across Marcom owned channels.

Key Qualifications

  • Oversee creative development, integration across Marcom owned channels, production and implementation of all advertising campaigns globally including TV, print, outdoor, and digital creative; sync with Social Producer support to ensure campaign integration across social campaign deliverables
  • Partner with Marcom / MAL Pod or external Agency leadership to integrate advertising across Marcom deliverables
  • Facilitate the strategic development of all advertising briefs with Marcom and agency Planning teams
  • Own advertising creative development process end to end for all Pod efforts
  • Drive communications within the Marcom team and with outside agencies to maintain all creative development schedules, presentations, approval processes, legal considerations and budget management procedures to create a smooth workflow
  • Oversee confidential launch initiatives to ensure security and secrecy is maintained through the duration of the project

The ability to evaluate strategy/ creative and to understand Apple’s tone of voice and guidelines, in order to give constructive creative feedback to the agency Substantial account management experience in an advertising agency, on global brands The ability to lead project development discussions Outstanding media knowledge (broadcast, outdoor, print and digital) Strong focus on digital and genuine knowledge and use of social media A passion for the brand A passion for Music, Entertainment and experience with brands in this category will be critical Excellent English communications skills - written and oral Leadership qualities and project management skills The ability to learn new processes and technology quickly The ability to work well and collaborate with others

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree required
