Are you looking for an exciting and meaningful role on Apple’s Mac Hardware Engineering Program Management team? As a program manager on the Product Support Engineering (PSE) team you will be chartered with the ongoing support of products which have transitioned from active development to production. For those products, PSE manages post-ramp qualifications, including requests for end-of-life, second source components, hardware/firmware improvements, new factory qualifications, etc.

Key Qualifications

  • Successful EPMs are driven, organized and detail oriented in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. They excel in program/ project management; communicates with ease cross functionally and are adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts.
  • Project/Program Manager with a minimum of 5+ years of related background in computer or consumer electronics
  • Experience collaborating with various teams including Operations and Mechanical Design.

Description

Ideal candidates are effective at working independently as part of larger, cross-functional team with little formal guidance, and at a minimum possesses these qualities and skills: Desire to take the initiative to manage product sustaining issues and pull together plans for corrective actions. Proficient at managing multiple projects at once. Ability to facilitate conflict resolution working with all appropriate disciplines as required. Easily develop relationships and work well with extended teams. Excellent self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail. Remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity and rapid change. Strong project management skills, including ability to establish project plans, track open issues, and communicate project updates independently. Strong knowledge of SAP, Agile, Excel necessary

Education & Experience

BS engineering degree. Equivalent experience as a program/project manager in the consumer electronics industry preferred.
