We are looking for a savvy professional with world-class finance talent to join our team as a Senior Strategic Supply Chain Analyst. Apple operates the largest and most complex supply chain in the world, and our team plays a meaningful role in driving its success. In this role, you will ensure that Apple's suppliers are well-positioned to meet the growing and multi-faceted demands of our business. You will be operating on the front lines of our supply chain, serving as the key financial representative to both Apple and our suppliers as you manage risk, execute financial transactions, and drive numerous other strategic initiatives. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our processes are as cutting edge as our products. Ability to keep up with our rapid growth and clearly communicate with executives within both Apple and our suppliers are key. The ideal candidate should be a top performer with a proven track record of accomplishments and success at large, complex, global organizations. Your work history should demonstrate an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment as well as deal with complex and ambiguous financial situations.

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant finance work experience required (Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, Corporate Development, Restructuring)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial data in easy to understand business terms
  • A self starter, with a proven ability to think strategically and drive change across a global organization
  • Strong prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple complex projects at a time
  • World-class operations experience in large, complex, global organizations, high-tech a plus (not required)
  • Ability to understand historical financial statements & financial forecasts are a requirement

Description

In this position you will support supply chain deal flow: Analysis, negotiation, structuring and execution. Drive deal flow cross-functional alignment (Tax, Accounting, Finance, Legal, Treasury, M&A and Procurement). You'll review legal documents and provide guidance on deal structure and key terms. Conduct financial reviews of Apple’s suppliers, including in-depth analysis of financial statements. Engage with supplier C-Level executives to understand financial status, cash flow and profitability. You will assess supplier credit risk and draw conclusions in the form of a risk rating. Develop and drive risk mitigation strategies across Apple’s supply chain. You'll partner with various financial institutions on key strategic initiatives.

Education & Experience

BS/BA or equivalent in business or related field MBA, CPA or CFA preferred
