The role is based on site in Austin, Texas.

Key Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge of WFM systems and processes relevant to system functionality being supported Apple Employee Systems, Kronos, ADP Global view Payroll, Payroll and relevant interfaces such as GL Postings, Stock, Benefits, Banking and other 3rd party
  • High level of hands on experience with the SAP Payroll module
  • Support complex Global Payroll systems for technical defects, enhancements or regular maintenance for Payroll Operations/Processing teams on system issues
  • Managing G2 (Global Gateway) Interfaces: Manual G2 creation for massive uploads and Maintain G2 configuration interface (internal and external)
  • Create system issues tickets as needed, hold regular calls with IS&T, ADP and business’s partner to communicate & monitor issue closure
  • Maintain and monitor Merlin/Kronos/TAP Tables per functional needs (i.e. new work schedules, new Jobs, new pay schedules, new Leaves, new Wage Types, etc)
  • Participate in cross-functional testing by creating scenarios, executing test cases, help signing-off and moving changes to production
  • Providing consulting in system behavior queries and configuration support as needed for Comp services
  • Engage with GPO in: knowledge sharing of new functionalities, warranty review sections and ER for impact/work-around, as needed
  • Provide input and perform complex tests for scenarios/scripts created by Compensation Service and ADP quality assurance team, as requested and needed
  • Review, analysis and provide professional judgment decision on Apple systems and ADP CRMs solutions and quotes
  • Communicate closely and independently with ADP, IS&T, People Team, Payroll Operations, Global Payroll Processing, Comp Services, and Accounting for production support resolution of process failures and improvements
  • Manage timely communications and critical issues to leadership regarding system and customer impacts
  • Take on team initiatives to drive improvement and consistency globally
  • Develop and contribute content for training materials and conduct user training
  • Participate on customer focused, continuous improvement projects that enhance our customer experience and bring value
  • Engage, react and find solutions under high-pressure environments
  • Availability to work outside business hours to support payroll processing times


Responsibilities include: • Experience with SAP Application, Business Intelligence (BI), and Success factors which includes Portal, Time, Payroll, Data Management, Business Warehouse, and Cloud • Working with business users, payroll managers, and vendors to gather, define, and document functional requirements for SAP technical solutions • Schema, Personnel Calculation Rule (PCR), Wage Types, Garnishments, Tax Reporting, Database, and Interface inbound and outbound with SAP • Providing technical strategic and tactical requirements on Apple BRDs or/and 3rd party vendor solution documents • Master data management and data audits • Daily support of SAP HR and Finance System on monitoring, testing, and performance issues • Expertise with the SAP payroll module is required

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of relevant experience.
