As a Senior Program Manager focusing on warehouse processes within the Worldwide Business Process Re-Engineering organization, you will work with a globally dispersed cross-functional team to conduct root cause and alternatives analysis to add new supply chain capability, drive process optimization, increased scale & efficiency, and minimize cost. You will prepare appropriate documentation including process flow diagramming, value stream mapping, scenario & sensitivity testing, financial analysis, and business case development. You will handle all aspects of project information including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope and definition, and provide oversight of a global portfolio of projects.

Key Qualifications

  • Broad warehouse management exposure with expertise in primary warehouse functions: Receiving, putaway, slotting, storage, inventory management, replenishment, pick, pack, ship, & returns
  • Broad experience in warehouse / DC implementations
  • Ability to evaluate space planning, capacity planning, process flow, and material handling equipment
  • Ability to drive efficiency and automation through interactions with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Proficient in business process flow diagramming, process analysis, and recommending solutions
  • Proficient in implementing warehouse process improvements and orchestrating change management
  • Proficient at leading multiple complex efforts at a time in a global company
  • Consistent track record of leading strategic projects combined with the ability to execute at tactical project-level activities and tasks
  • Experience planning, managing, delivering medium (6-8 month) to large (8-12+ month) projects
  • Solid ability to handle deadlines and meet cost constraints
  • Experience developing project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates; obtain executive approval and funding
  • Ability to facilitate brainstorming sessions to gather requirements
  • Strong communication and documentation skills across project and management teams
  • Excellent leadership skills that enhance project team effectiveness
  • Literacy with process modeling tools, MS Excel, and basic project planning tools

Description

You will be responsible for running cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to define, build, and roll-out innovative warehousing, technology, and business process solutions that increase efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, builds customer loyalty, and drive cost savings. This position requires working with senior management and global teams to define processes and system roadmaps. This effort is directly linked to our commercial strategy and needs to be forward-looking. This May Include: - Understanding future strategies and directions to anticipate needs - Building internal and external expertise driving innovation - Situation analysis and audit of current warehouse, process, data, and systems - Gap analysis of as-is vs to-be - Proposing and driving new solutions that may be implemented WW or addressing local processes - Develop metrics such as customer satisfaction, user acceptance, business impact (e.g. Apply analytical skills to help inspire change). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Serve as a liaison between the Apple business teams and IS&T (Information Systems and Technology) as well as Supplier teams to develop process and systems solutions (requirements, user testing, etc.) to support WW Sales Operations Support (WW SOS) programs. 2. Assess current, design future, and implement warehouse & business processes and WMS change 3. Partner with key cross-functional teams to solicit customer and Supplier feedback to identify program improvement opportunities for implementation 4. Work with business leads to define and handle business process and technology roadmaps in support of long-term strategies 5. Provide functional subject matter expertise 6. Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success 7. Gather and synthesize detailed, global business requirements and design specifications 8. Facilitate project-related testing, roll-out, and post-mortem work 9. Manage change. Implement new ideas effectively within the Apple culture. Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership and a customer- focused approach 10. Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to project, management and senior-executive teams

Education & Experience

- Bachelors degree required in Industrial Engineering or related field, MBA is desired - 10-15 years of warehouse management experience - Global supply chain management experience
