The people here at Apple don’t just create products — they create the kind of wonder that’s revolutionized entire industries. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. The commute experience for Apple employees is one of the best in the world, and we're looking to make it even better! The Apple Commute team is looking for a motivated software engineer who will help build apps and services to improve the commuter experience, along with internal tools to help efficiently run our operations. The Apple Commute team aligns with broader recruitment, retention, sustainability, wellness, and real estate priorities by enabling densification of buildings, reducing demands on parking, and lowering peak hour single-occupant vehicle trips. Commute also supports the recruitment and retention of top talent by bridging the commute gap between dense urban settings and Cupertino. We do this by encouraging active commutes for all employees, which ensures employees arrive alert and recharged and the benefits of the program are felt throughout the company every single day. Our flagship program is a fleet of vehicles operating a variety of commute, last mile, intercampus, and on-demand services. We also manage a bike-share fleet, electric vehicle charging stations, carpooling, and a commuter benefits program.
