The AppleCare Risk and Compliance (R&C) Team exists to protect our customer’s privacy and Apple by ensuring AppleCare Contact Centre tools are used in accordance with Apple policy. We actively work to eradicate known non-compliant behaviours and stem new non-compliant behaviours before they become widespread. R&C is looking for a Regional Lead to develop a team of Risk and Compliance Managers (RCMs) spread across AMR and EMEIA. This team manages information security and fraud related investigations and incidents; mitigating the immediate the risk and preventing future instances. You believe deeply in privacy, are passionate in the fight against fraud and demonstrate extraordinary integrity. You will work closely with the business and across a diverse set of business partners such as Global Security, HR/Privacy Legal, Internal Audit and Strategic Data Solutions. This role requires strong collaboration, communication and organisation skills.
- 5+ years of industry experience in Investigations, Security, Law Enforcement, Auditing or Compliance.
- Experienced in leading teams remotely and managing across cultures.
- Experienced in conducting investigations, distinguishing the signal from the noise and committed in finding the truth.
- Proven experience in data analysis and working with data science teams.
- Skilled at understanding and affecting business interdependencies - who, when and how to engage.
- Able to articulate complex situations and solutions with brevity.
- Self-motivated individual skilled in project management, negotiation, problem solving and relationship management.
You will report to the WW Risk and Compliance Manager. The role can be based in Austin, Elk Grove or Cupertino. Your responsibilities will include: Be the primary Risk and Compliance contact for the business and key business partners in AMR and EMEIA. Provide regular business updates to the business (annual, quarterly and weekly). Run consistency in incident management of the AMR/EMEIA team by ensuring: 1. Incidents are brought up in a timely manner to key business partners. 2. Communication of high profile incidents to leadership. 3. Feedback and suggestions on fraud detection and risk mitigation will be delivered promptly to the appropriate groups. 4. Calibration across regions. Run investigation leads generated through business issues. Partner with the R&C Investigators on active investigations. Drive initiatives to prevent further incidents via educations, tool and process improvements.
