Apple seeks a motivated and proven app development expert to be an App Frameworks Evangelist, supporting and mentoring participants in the Apple Entrepreneur Camp program for organizations founded and led by women. This role offers the chance of a lifetime to directly impact a new generation of apps being developed by innovative thinkers. You’ll work closely with Camp participants and help them understand how to design and develop compelling, modern, and state-of-the-art apps for iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS. To qualify for this role, you possess a real passion for Apple technologies, have an eye for good design, demonstrate expertise with frameworks and technologies such as Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Multitasking, Accessibility, and ARKit, and live and breathe Apple development. We are seeking individuals with strong communication and people skills and a passion for working with and supporting app developers in a positive and collaborative way.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years applied experience in iOS and/or macOS development
  • You demonstrate proficiency with key Apple developer frameworks and technologies
  • Expertise with Xcode, Swift, and/or Objective-C
  • Knowledge of the app development process and 3rd-party tools
  • Critical eye for attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a professional and credible demeanor
  • Proven public speaking and presentation skills

Working one-on-one with 3rd party development teams to ensure they’re taking full advantage of Apple frameworks and technologies within their apps. Providing ongoing technical guidance and mentorship to current and past participants of the Apple Entrepreneur Camp program. Performing engineering reviews to find opportunities for optimization, modernization, use of best practices, and the adoption of key Apple frameworks. Leading hands-on programming workshops and labs to assist developers with the adoption of specific iOS, tvOS, watchOS, and macOS technologies. Working with Apple engineering teams to advocate for the requirements of 3rd-party developers. Identifying, documenting, and communicating developer progress, trends, and technical issues to teams within Apple.

Education & Experience

B.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, or Software Design Engineering
