We are in search of a Financial Analyst to partner with our infrastructure teams to establish and manage Data Center Server Hardware; both from a CapEx spend and a utilization standpoint. Along with a strong analytical mindset, this role will require a significant amount of partnering, both with the business and with our internal finance teams. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, able to take initiative and work independently. We want you to bring thought leadership to inspire change and drive Apple's Internet Services

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years of financial analysis experience, preferred with a background in data center and/or capex
  • Validated analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Aptitude for synthesizing complex data into key components that drive informed decisions
  • Comfortable working with ambiguous data
  • Shown ability to work independently and respond rapidly in a fast changing business environment

Description

The Data Center Server Hardware analyst plays a critical role in both working with various properties (iCloud, Maps, AMP, Ad Platforms etc.) to manage and track their Server CapEx as well as holding them accountable for it’s utilization. To be successful in this role the analyst will need a solid background in Finance (from Budget/Forecast/Actuals, Fixed Assets and other Control areas) and will need to develop a base level understanding of Technologies, Hardware use cases and App architecture to help inform the forecast and to challenge the business. This is a role that straddles both a core Finance role and one that will need to heavily partner with and influence the business.
