The Apple Software and Services Product and Design team is looking for an experienced Features Manager with excellent project management and communication skills to partner with cross-functional teams on upcoming media product launches. - 5-7 years as a producer or project manager in the tech, media or digital entertainment worlds
- Do you have excellent social, oral and written communication skills?
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem (iOS, macOS, tvOS, Apple Music, iTunes, Apple TV App, App Store, Apple Books, Podcasts, Apple News, etc.)
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and get results while juggling many priorities within tight timeframes
- Experience writing technical and functional specifications
- Proven ability to grasp complexity quickly and adapt to change seamlessly while delivering projects on-time
- Experience producing internal and external user facing projects
- Do you have fluency in Keynote, Numbers, and other Apple software?
- International experience is a plus
Product and Design create the vision and aesthetic, and the Features team coordinates the functional implementation. Working across the suite of Apple Media Products, you’ll take product requirements documents and design comps, and layer in editorial and content use cases. You’ll create clear functional specifications that help engineering teams understand how everything fits together, and manage the impact on cross-functional partners including business, editorial, production, localization and marketing; ensuring that the end product meets everyone’s expectations. You will work closely with product, design and engineering to understand and define the project parameters, and then run a tight ship; juggling the priorities of many key stakeholders, while remaining a strong advocate for an exceptional user experience. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: You will collect input and requirements, and advise on functional implementation of proposed editorial features at scale Craft detailed flows and functional specs around editorial and content-rich features You'll run cross-functional meetings to review major landmarks and changes as the projects evolve Document and communicate project status on a weekly basis and highlight the impact of project changes to various leaders. Run pre-launch functional demos with senior leadership and handle expectations Coordinate the build-out of editorial featuring suites in QA environments Constantly refine process, workflow and communication in a fast-paced, demanding environment Strong fundamentals are a basis, but you have more.
