We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the design, budgeting, construction, and delivery of Apple real estate and development projects at multiple locations throughout the Americas (US, Canada, Latin America). You should be skilled in negotiating construction and design contracts and ensuring quality control and on-time completion of all projects.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience with progressively growing responsibility of commercial and manufacturing related projects
  • Experience leading design professionals, project management firms, construction management firms, contractors, and other construction consulting services
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently organize diverse work efforts into a productive team
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience dealing with a variety of project types, including both aggressive schedule and high-profile projects with budget challenges
  • Experience planning, tracking, evaluating, and reporting on related activities
  • Ability to evaluate and analyze project information and utilize automated information management systems
  • Ability to interact with all levels utilizing effective forms of communication
  • Collaborative with a customer service mentality
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations; and experience in handling the full range of Federal, State and Local entitlement and building code approval processes for varying regions and jurisdictions
  • Knowledge of LEED process and all relevant construction-based, Energy-related programs

Description

You will lead all operations and functions of project teams in accordance with regional and corporate priorities and objectives Identify the current condition and desired condition of regional priorities involving all functions and responsibilities within your project team Develop plans and accountability systems to eradicate disparity between "what is" and "what ought to be" Work with and through team to craft and implement an effective method of user feedback and input on associated project assignments Create and maintain project budgets, including securing internal approvals for capital funding, and manage costs to remain within the budget constraints with the approved scope Develop and oversee project timeline for timely completion of project Demonstrate due diligence to ensure that all assigned projects are completed with the highest level of quality, while always considering life cycle costs and budget achievement Negotiate, administer, and manage design, construction, and consultant contracts in coordination with Contract Administration Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EH&S, Manufacturing, IS&T, Security and other functional groups, as required, regarding assigned project design and construction activities and/or issues Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local statutes and rules and regulations related to construction projects Provide complete and accurate reports and updates Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education & Experience

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture, Business Management, Construction Management, Construction, engineering or related field Special consideration will be given to registered engineers and architects, LEEP AP Certification, PMP Certification and/or licensed Class A general contractors.
