Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a lead engineer, engineering manager or software quality manager
  • Excellent understanding of cellular technologies (GSM/UMTS/CDMA/LTE/NR) & IMS domain
  • Demonstrated history of a passion for quality
  • Experience in a test or QA Manager role owning release decisions, scoping work, and driving bug convergence
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, schedule driven development
  • Track record of attracting, retaining, and growing people to create a self organized and highly empowered team
  • Track record of building strong working relationship across large organization.
  • Able to work in an ambiguous and highly interdependent work environment to get things done in an efficient and tactful way
  • Ability to motivate people, instill accountability, and achieve results
  • Experience creating and leveraging qualitative metrics and measurements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Description

WTE Telephony QA team is looking for an exceptionally talented senior engineering manager to lead and inspire a team responsible for quality assurance of telephony technologies for iOS product.Responsibilities include leading a team of software QA and test development engineers, partnering with the engineering teams developing telephony features, creating innovative ways to automate and expand our software testing, compiling and presenting test results—ultimately driving and constantly improving product quality. Education & Experience

BS CS/CE/EE (MS preferred), or equivalent experience
