Apple Media Products (AMP) supports the App Store, Apple Music, Apple Books, Apple Podcasts, iTunes Store, and TV app lines of business. In AMP, we ensure the best user experience through world-class apps, editorial, and storefronts. Most importantly, we cultivate strong relationships with the third-party partners that supply our customers with the highest quality content. In AMP, we focus on building a robust digital supply chain that ensures the stellar content from partners through to our customers. The AMP Partner Experience team owns the production, editing, localization, and deployment for all partner communications including newsletters, news articles, training videos, and user guides. More than a million apps, books, movies, music, podcasts, and TV partners access our web-based resources hosted on every year, including App Store Connect and iTunes Connect Resources and Help,, and Apple Music for Artists. The AMP Partner Experience team is looking for a content producer to produce and edit partner communications. As a content producer, you'll aim to create clear documentation and feature announcements for AMP partners. You are passionate about breaking down technical workflows to a non-technical audience. You find fulfillment in reducing support drivers through written documentation. You enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders to find the best way to communicate AMP digital supply chain updates and enhancements. As a content producer you not only strive to create the optimal partner experience, but you look for ways to improve the efficiency and quality of internal communications systems. You enjoy coaching others in best practices and teaching cross-functional teams the most effective way to communicate to partners. You stress the importance of deadlines and localization. Finally, you spend time thinking critically about innovative ways to communicate to partners. You find excitement in competitive analysis of the support documentation landscape. You have a deep understanding and passion for Apple’s level of quality and aim to ensure the AMP partner experience matches that of Apple’s world-class customer experience.

Key Qualifications

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills; attention to detail; and command of grammar and punctuation
  • The ability to synthesize and simplify complex topics and procedures, especially by suggesting alternative ways to present information
  • Familiarity with standard publication style guides, including The Chicago Manual of Style
  • Outstanding teamwork skills and flexibility in decision making, including the ability to compromise gracefully
  • Patience and the ability to work collaboratively with writers of all experience levels
  • A strong internal communicator who is able to build close relationships within and across teams
  • Comfortable with Markdown, HTML, XML, JSON
  • Experience using Drupal is a plus
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, and Git GUIs such as Sourcetree is a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics/Omniture is a plus


Edits proposed copy from operations personnel Copyedits and proofreads documents for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and style Reviews all communications and documentation throughout the release lifecycle Works on high-profile, confidential materials ahead of release Publishes flawless email and web copy inline with Apple’s style guide Runs competitive analysis against support content throughout the media industry Tweaks and tailors content based on industry and data trends Collaborates with business and operations teams to craft messaging and documentation Collaborates with cross-functional teams including product marketing, engineering, project management, localization, design, and third-party vendors Analyzes and improves content production processes to increase efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks Adapts to fast-paced, ever-changing business and operations initiatives Collaborates as needed with other team members, including other the producers and developers

Education & Experience

B.A. in English, Journalism, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related discipline
