The Worldwide Operations Finance team is looking for a Logistics Finance Manager to lead the Worldwide Logistics Financial Forecast and Close process. This role will be part of the WW Operations Finance team at Apple. This position owns the WW forecast and reporting in the Logistics space. It is the main consolidator to roll up regional forecast/actuals results in order to report at the worldwide level, and would work closely with regional finance and regional/worldwide operations teams. You will come to us with financial planning & analysis experience in a global role with a multinational company. Previous logistics finance experience is preferred. Due to the Executive exposure this role entails, you are able to clearly articulate the “big picture” related to global freight, duty, and distribution center spend, and also be able to drive down to relevant details as needed.

Key Qualifications

  • 9+ years professional work experience
  • Hands-on financial experience performing budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis in a global/WW capacity
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and global process ownership
  • Demonstrated analytical and logical abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Able to build consensus among cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data at a macro and micro level

  • Demonstrated experience executing process and system development and implementation
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating business requirements between Finance & IT

Description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: - Support WW Logistics, WW Supply Demand Management, Corporate FP&A and NPI Finance organizations in ad hoc analysis - Collaborate with the regional teams on continuously enhancing monthly forecast and quarterly close processes - Support process reengineering and seek out new areas of opportunities - Interact with all levels (from analyst to VPs) and departments (such as other Finance groups, or Procurement, Logistics, Planning etc.).

Education & Experience

- CPA/MBA preferred - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
