As a successful writer in our Social Media team, you will be responsible for crafting thoughtful, engaging social posts and any copy embedded within images, videos and animations for use on several Apple Support Online Channels. You have a natural ability to juggle multiple projects on tight timelines and to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience writing for traditional or digital agencies, in-house marketing teams, or digital publications
  • Experience authoring and editing business content for a support audience
  • Strong background in copywriting for videos and social media

Description

In this exciting role, you will work with the production team and with leadership to translate common customer-reported issues into posts, scripts and visuals that help people resolve issues and better understand key hardware and software features. - Extraordinary writing, editing, collaboration, and communication skills - Experience writing specifically for video and Twitter, and collaborating with producers, art directors, UX and subject matter experts - Ability to express ideas clearly and diplomatically - Ability to take technical content and make it easy for non-technical audiences to understand - Experience reviewing your own work with others - Manage content projects and communicate status proactively - Deep understanding of the Apple tone and voice. Ability to develop ideas that are surprising and fresh, yet unmistakably Apple - Ability to create and revise copy quickly, and to articulate the message to stakeholders - Extreme attention to detail, and the ability to filter and focus on what’s important - Clear and simple writing that speaks to customers in their own language - A commitment to meet deadlines and keep project managers in the loop. - Collaborative and a phenomenal teammate - Fluent in the latest Apple products, solutions, and related technologies - Hyper-focused on product accuracy - Resilient when we have to leave good ideas behind (in pursuit of great ones). - Passionate about providing a great user experience - Willing to take risks, fail, and learn from mistakes

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in technical communication, writing/composition, or similar field (Master's degree preferred)
