You will be responsible for managing service parts supply for their assigned commodities. You are a high-energy tactical execution expert with a strong team orientation. Your experience encompasses a combination of purchasing/supplier management acumen and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supply issues to achieve extraordinary customer service.

Key Qualifications

  • Service Operations experience
  • SAP experience a plus
  • APICS CPIM certification or similar
  • Excellent English skills required -- both verbal & written


- Execute purchase orders based on requisitions released from planning. - Ensure accuracy of open purchase orders. Ensure suppliers confirm all purchase orders and provide committed ship dates. Reschedule/modify past due delivery lines at a minimum weekly in SAP and track deliveries until received. - Achieve target fill rate, minimize backlog, and drive rapid backlog recovery. Responsible for the daily reporting and follow-up of all unresolved supply issues and update AppleCare systems with the latest delivery commitments - Expedite supplier deliveries as needed. - Collaborate with internal Apple partners to resolve issues. Build relationships to successfully influence and handle escalations regularly. - Partner with teams in Engineering, Planning, Commodity Management, and OEM suppliers to execute the most cost-effective supply chain solutions for AppleCare. - Partner with Global Commodity Manager to drive improvements in supplier performance on key metrics. - Work with warehouse on material receipt issues and resolve issues as needed - Manage repair or credit turnaround with suppliers to achieve target metrics. - Work with Accounts Payable and Finance to resolve invoice and credit processing issues. - Maintain relevant purchasing data in AppleCare systems.

Education & Experience

Requires BS degree, plus 5-10 years related procurement or supplier management experience
