Come join the AppleRecycling team. We are seeking a motivated, detail driven Manager for Apple’s Global Reuse and Recycling program to manage the APAC region. You will successfully get along with business groups and customers to understand requirements and to negotiate solutions for Apple reuse and recycling needs to ensure that brand security and environmental protection requirements are consistently met. You will be a results-oriented, customer support focused individual who is comfortable working in an extremely dynamic and changing environment.

Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Reuse and Recycling organization to ensure that goals, objectives, and commitments are consistently met or exceeded. Drive the Reuse and Recycling staff to develop innovative and industry-leading programs based on consistency with corporate requirements, applicable regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement. Review and evaluate reuse and recycling needs, recommend and provide solutions for all types of program needs globally. Lead development and implementation of Reuse and Recycling initiatives including closed loop, give back, component pre-destruction and witnessing guidelines. Execute day-to-day Reuse and Recycling operations (including logistics path) at Contract Manufacturers, Warehouse, Retail stores. Identify, track and report on key performance indicators to demonstrate the performance of the many Reuse and Recycling programs that Apple currently operates globally. Partner with various department representatives at Apple globally to drive secure and environmentally beneficial reuse and recycling solutions addressing the management of internally generated electronic and confidential scrap, consumer and retail scrap returns, scrap from supplier locations, other voluntary and regulatory required initiatives globally. Support Corporate EHS compliance audits of Apple’s take back and recycling chain globally, ensuring that all steps in the recycling chain meet or exceed regulatory and contractual performance requirements. Maintain a working knowledge of all applicable regulations on the collection and management of Apple branded product waste and the trans-boundary movement of this material. Ensure that all material is moved to the selected recycling solution in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Lead staff, technical consultants, and vendors to assess, develop and implement innovative and industry-leading programs globally as needed. Responsible for management of Global Reuse and Recycling group budget and performance against corporate goals.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Environmental Management or equivalent. MS highly preferred.
