Apple’s Worldwide Events team is seeking a Manager of Event Operations and Producers to act as a strategic partner to the Event Leadership team in streamlining operational processes to facilitate magnificent delivery and execution of extraordinary events within budgetary guidelines.

You will be responsible for developing solutions and tools that result in streamlining complex organizational needs in order to deliver operational standards within Apple’s Event organization. You will drive the annual and quarterly planning process, lead budgeting and forecasting and will help with the prioritization and scoping of new initiatives. Additional responsibilities include: Build strong partnerships, integration and alignment with key cross functional teams with a focus on finance, procurement, marcom, and other key internal cross-functional partners and vendors. Track key work streams, set and communicate clear success metrics and re-calibrate as necessary to ensure the success of each project. Build positive relationships and representing the vision for the future of the team is critical to success in this role. Develop robust processes to continually deliver to Apple standards and levels of quality, whilst driving efficiency and transparency. Assume a leadership role for the Operations team through leading appropriate high-level communications, keeping key partners well-informed and managing issue and concerns through the proper levels of the organization in a timely and efficient manner. Operate with a “no surprises” commitment to business partners and key partners, and become a role model for communication and collaboration. Partner with the Procurement, Finance, and the Events teams and their respective partners to outline project scope and lead the bidding process to allow for the sourcing of products and specialty services in accordance with policies and procedures and applicable regulations. Assess agencies, vendors and overall market conditions to support present and future needs for the procurement of services to deliver events at or below estimated cost targets. Set clear metrics and parameters to enable and execute projects “within budget”. Create a process with check points and milestones for reviews internally and externally with partners and with executives. Develop and maintain financial forecasts, reporting and dashboards to facilitate timely, clear, and transparent communication within the team and with cross functional partners and vendors. Drive the annual and quarterly planning process (including support for headcount planning) ensuring clear communication and coordination with the team. Support the team to facilitate regular meetings with key vendor partners to address issues related to budgets, scope, resources, conflict resolution, etc. Lead weekly/monthly team meetings, setting clear agendas, assigning ownership and ensuring that action items are tracked and completed. Support compliance with policy and procedures.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution with field experience preferred.
