Apple Events is looking for a Senior Event Manager to execute on all the Corporate Events Conferences specifically related to Apple Sales and Retail organizations.
- 10-15 years of experience running large scale events and conferences
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across multiple audiences and executive level partners
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and drive change in a fast paced environment
- Prior relevant experience driving brand representation and delivering on experiential events and conferences with large attendance and multiple stakeholders
- Ability to innovate and curate ideas, plan, budget, coordinate and execute all events centered around the Apple Sales and Retail organizations.
Partners with Apple Sales and Retail executives to understand unique organizational strategy, objectives and goals to build and establish their culture for the year. Lead and build teams responsible for end-to-end execution of those conferences. Manage a group that handles all contract negotiations with strategic hotel partners and chains, venues, DMCs, transportation companies, training companies and any other vendors necessary for the success of a conference. Lead the creation and implementation of training delivery formats and agendas. Responsible for meeting and exceeding expectations and timelines with all key conference stakeholders(internal and external) to ensure parallel and independent work streams that must all execute simultaneously on site at the conference. Operationally sound in handling multi-million dollar budgets, complex logistics and attendee communications. Own the general session production including the management of speakers, their schedules and their content. Strategically craft ways to constantly innovate experiential events and annual conferences so that remote teams identify with a broader community and feel knowledgable of the company and division goals. Build and champion an environment focused on living in the details of the customer experience, demanding difference and delivering world-class conferences. Exhibit confidence in problem solving and presenting to senior management on project status and schedules Must be willing to travel extensively, adhere to a strict gifting policy, perform under tight deadlines and cut through ambiguity to make decisions that are best for Apple key relationships.
Education & Experience
BA or equivalent work experience required
