The US Consumer Business Development Team is a newly formed team who will drive the development of strategies and execution of initiatives across US consumer retail. Within this team, the Consumer Offer and Consumer Credit Lead is crucial in ensuring that Apple’s ecosystem has the broadest reach and accessibility across all US retail consumers. This person is responsible to develop and deliver disruptive consumer offers and identify avenues to provide more affordable access to Apple’s portfolio of products and services for our US retail partners.

Key Qualifications

  • You have deep knowledge and experience of the US consumer credit landscape
  • You have built affordability offers leveraging financing, extended installments, credit approvals, etc with the goal of extending access to affordable credit
  • Understanding of carrier and/or retail economics with regards to financial reporting, ROI, product costing and ARPU
  • Confirmed strengths in deal making and negotiations, relationship management, and working across different teams and functions
  • Strategic agility: demonstrated capability to identify and drive new opportunities
  • You have a strong data analytical ability — detail oriented with the ability to input, track, measure and analyze multiple variable data sets
  • Strong self-starter who is able to work independently to develop new areas with ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
  • You have the ability to quickly develop, iterate, and navigate through large scale contracts and agreements in partnership with legal teams
  • Confirmed ability to maintain senior executive relationships, lead complex negotiations, and navigate partner organizational structures
  • Knowledge of consumer electronics products and market trends — possess good customer insight and purchasing behavior


Identify how best to win in the US retail environment by creating innovative consumer offers as well as by leveraging existing, traditional carrier offers for our retail partners and their customers Design scalable initiatives that increase access to Apple’s ecosystem by addressing credit and financial constrains of customers and partners You will seek unique opportunities by analyzing market dynamics, business requirements, partner capabilities, and return on investment You understand partner challenges, and perspectives. You build credibility and strong business insight. You guide initiatives to grow the account and the partner’s dedication to Apple products over time. You will work side by side with our retail partners and their respected teams to build each consumer offer program and initiative. Articulate and quantify commercial impact of proposed program and associated actions. Lead compliance to key commercial obligations, identify gaps/opportunities to drive increased performance YoY. Lead pipeline development, prospecting, deal execution, implementation, and continued management. Navigate complex organizations and quickly establish relationships and rapport. Work closely across Apple functions to evaluate new business models and to spearhead financial assessments.

Education & Experience

Bachelors required, MBA strongly preferred. 7+ years of experience within credit, financing, fin-tech, and/or banking institutions — a plus if you have experience with US carrier and telecoms business environment and/or within consumer retail
