We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned individual to serve as our Social Media Manager for the recently announced Apple Arcade gaming subscription service. Apple Arcade is the first game subscription service for mobile, desktop and the living room, which will feature over 100 new and exclusive games, including original releases from renowned creators. You will serve as a global social media lead for Apple Arcade on all platforms with the goal to grow our social media fans and followers across social networks, and increase the engagement of this audience. You will define and implement high impact programs to achieve these goals.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years experience leading a social media strategy for a well-established, global brand
  • A deep passion for games with a hunger to help our customers discover and play games our community will love
  • Experience with games marketplaces and expertise in subscription models a plus
  • Exceptional knowledge of social media technologies with shown experience proposing and executing social strategies native to the individual channels that demonstrate tangible return on investment
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • You are at the cutting edge of the cultural and gaming zeitgeist; understanding internet, social and meme culture and how to credibly and sensitively work within it whilst maintaining brand safety
  • Experience at executing engaging and innovative campaigns
  • Experience using intuition and data to guide decision-making
  • Ability to guide global strategy and collaborate with a global team
  • Strong project management skills and fluency with Keynote and Numbers
  • Excellent communication, time-management, and presentation skills
  • Very strong communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure with shown experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects
  • Strong ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment to achieve goals
  • A passion for working in a fast-paced environment with high level of collaboration

Description

- You will conceive, implement and measure social marketing campaigns on a daily basis, across all relevant channels. - Demonstrated understanding of how apps and social trends intersect in the daily behavioral habits of App Store users, along with a strong passion for mobile and desktop apps - Provide strategic leadership and positioning for gaming, based on consumer, product and category insights - Develop tactics, plans, partnerships, tools and agencies that help achieve the business goals - Manage relationships with external and internal agencies/design teams to brief and manage original content for distribution. - Lead all communication with international marketing leads on priorities and best practices. - Launch, grow and manage channels where relevant ensuring milestones are set and met. - Execute social media publishing strategies ensuring that all posts are accurate, punctual, safe and on brand. - Manage daily social communication, consumer listen and response, sentiment analysis and enquiries. - Work on strategic partnership opportunities with Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook etc to deliver the business goals - Report on campaigns and augment based on analysis to ensure the most effective approach.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
