The AFS Pricing and Structuring Analyst is a multifaceted position responsible for driving pricing and analytics for the global Apple Financial Services teams. This role covers all segments of the business, including Education and Enterprise. In addition to providing analytics and reporting on the core AFS business, there is also a strong focus on portfolio risk management, monitoring, and pricing. The role will be responsible for developing new ways of looking at the AFS portfolio, with an initial focus on building tools to drive pricing and decision-making. This role will also provide ad hoc analysis on potential new programs and initiatives to drive Apple sales through innovative financial structures. This role collaborates heavily with both internal Apple teams and external partner teams to drive strategy and pricing for AFS. This is a highly demanding role with the feel of a startup environment. The successful candidate will help enable sales and drive execution of the AFS strategy by providing data-driven insight through creative analytics.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in a financial analysis role
  • Strong analytical focus with business, quantitative, and portfolio modeling experience
  • Proven experience structuring financial products and ability to effectively understand economic trade-offs and help shape customer conversations
  • Experience with lease pricing models and financial calculations and Excel based modeling (experience doing statistical analysis a plus)
  • Proven ability to influence and challenge outcomes to get results

Apple Financial Services Team is seeking a high-energy analyst to work with the AFS worldwide team, internal Apple stakeholders, and business partners. This role will be responsible for driving analytics, pricing, and structuring for the global AFS teams. Work alongside the AFS leadership team by providing actionable insights to help enable sales and drive AFS execution. Develop new and creative ways of looking at the AFS business, with a strong focus on portfolio and economic modeling and analysis. Build and deploy new tools for AFS to better execute, including pricing and risk models. Own the financial and economic analysis for new offers and programs to assess their viability and present to senior leadership. Develop and implement compelling AFS offers globally using the AFS products. Ensure all AFS offerings are in compliance with stated policy and guidelines. Play a key role in establishing the long-term vision for analytics and pricing for the AFS organization.

Education & Experience

BA/BS in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field. MBA a plus.
