There is a lot that goes into building the most secure yet user-friendly devices in the world. We are an unusual Software Development group with a charter to secure our platforms that include iOS SW, iOS Devices, and Mac. We build solutions that are used by our customers, our engineering teams, and our manufacturing environments. We are looking for a technical project leader who can help organize/drive engineering tasks so that we can work effectively as a group. You will also be representing the group in various multi-functional settings. So, are you ready for this challenging yet highly visible and rewarding opportunity?

Key Qualifications

  • Familiarity with different project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc…)
  • Technical knowledge in software engineering fields and infrastructure (h/w, network)
  • Experience with managing the Infrastructure aspects of the project is desired
  • Experience working with hardware manufacturing is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with an ability to work independently
  • Detail-attentive and analytical


The group gets new engineering tasks as either improvements to existing systems or an initiative to build new systems to meet business requirements. In both cases, the work starts off with discussions/meetings with our business partners to obtain and align requirements. In this role, you will be facilitating/participating in these discussions and meetings along with managers to collect/define/plan what needs to be accomplished. This initial phase will also involve spawning internal discussions with engineering managers, as required, Infrastructure, and SRE teams to further understand the capability of existing systems to reach consensus on whether to demonstrate existing or to build new. Once it gets past this planning and investigation phase, it's time to work closely with all the partners to define tasks and track them to ensure we are on target in delivering the solution. From this point on, its project management 101 to make sure that all the dependent pieces are moving orderly every step of the way till the completion of the project. The engineering/infrastructure teams will look to the you to help them prioritize and focus to improve the level of efforts to meet the dedications in time with the highest quality. As needed, you may be required to produce documentation to clarify the scope and direction of the solution to insure everyone's on the same page.

Education & Experience

B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent major is a huge plus 3+ years of experience in meaningful fields
