Apple’s Carrier Engineering Team is looking for a high-energy, collaborative and creative Engineering Program Specialist (EPS). We are searching for a talented individual to support both Hardware and Software teams on developing thrilling new products in an exciting technology space.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a large cross- functional team environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail; flexible with the ability to react to changes in a time-sensitive environment
  • Experience in managing spreadsheets (Numbers and Excel) is required
  • Knowledge or interest in programming or scripting languages is highly desired
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
  • Able and willing to travel internationally

Description

What will you do in this role? As an EPS, you will be working closely with regional Carrier Team members in Americas, Europe and Asia, program and system managers, New Product Security and other teams within the WTE organization. You will manage and handle hardware device allocations and distribution of engineering hardware prototypes, and support the various carrier team groups with carrier testing and device lifecycle related activities. Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Additional Requirements

  • Work the various carrier regional teams to ensure correct allocations of samples are ordered and received in a timely manner
  • Communicating allocation inputs for carrier testing units
  • Managing the logistics of shipping test devices for all regional carriers
  • Creating and managing documentation to track testing equipment allocation and inventory
  • Traveling internationally to support regional carrier teams with prototype lifecycle management
  • Managing budget for tests devices procurement, packaging and shipping
  • Sending and tracking test devices to all carriers based on the agreed plan
  • Supporting administration of carrier’s Apple connect accounts
  • Managing Test SIM card inventory
  • Ensuring device inventory correctly matches the allocations assigned to respective regions
