Key Qualifications

  • Validated experience in implementing Supply Network Planning solutions
  • Understanding spare parts supply planning
  • Understanding of linear optimizers like Gurobi and ability to analyze solver output for correctness. Shown implementation is a requirement in this area
  • Python : ability to read and debug code
  • Pl/SQL : ability to code and debug
  • Java : ability to code and debug

Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Systems Engineer. You will be analytical, well-adapted, detail-oriented, organized, ambitious, hard-working, who provides thought-leadership, can produce deliverables independently, can interface at all levels of the organization, with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. You will work with key global and regional business users, BPRs and extended IS&T (Information Systems & Technology) teams to drive and implement strategic SCM solutions at Apple. The person should have good domain knowledge of Supply Network Planning. We are looking for an individual with a consistent track record delivering projects with complexity at scale, meeting business objectives. Someone self-motived, who can grasp technical concepts quickly, adapt to change while being an effective liaison between functional and development teams. Roles and Responsibilities: Strong knowledge of Supply Planning domain Working with business analysts to understand desired system requirements and write functional specifications Working together with system owners, technical teams, and functional teams to design, implement, test, and validate a system Strong communication skills (verbal & written) Developing conceptual and detailed functional designs Estimating level of effort and plan work accordingly Engaging with business analysts, functional architects and other partners to ensure feasibility of the solution Reviewing the design and development work performed by the developers in the team and ensure the project is delivering the intended architecture, including leading code reviews Co-ordinating various delivery aspects of the solution across multi-functional teams Ability to adapt, learn, develop and deploy new technologies/solutions is a requirement Experience in leading development team

Education & Experience

B.S. degree in related fields plus 8-10 years of related experiences, or advanced degree plus 6-8 years of related experiences
