Apple is looking for a dynamic, focused, nimble, and highly motivated individual to join the Worldwide Developer Relations Partnership Management team. The role supports developers across the App Store Business & Productivity categories including Microsoft, virtualization and 2d design developers. Customers that range from SMB to Fortune 100 are critical to the success of iPhone, iPad and Mac.
- Minimum 10 years work experience
- Experience in the Business/Enterprise industry
- Awareness of mobile application development processes, developer support programs and related marketing activities
- Mobile hardware, software or mobile consumer electronics product management/ marketing / relationship management experience highly desirable
- Managing production of UI/UX experiences highly desirable
- Strong oral and written communication skills, combined with a mature, diplomatic approach in all communications required
- Effective presenter in a variety of formal presentation settings; one-on-one, small and large group required
- A demonstrable passion for Apple platforms preferred
The Partnership Management team in Apple's Worldwide Developer Relations group is seeking an agile, energetic, and highly motivated individual for the role of Partnership Manager for the Business/Productivity segment, who will build and maintain strategic relationships with mobile software developers. This individual will ensure the continued delivery of world-class third-party solutions for Apple devices. - Work as a 3rd Party Product Management with internal cross-functional teams and third-party developers to build strategic products on Apple platforms. The specific area of team focus is the Business and Productivity categories on the App Store which includes Microsoft, virtualization and 2d design developers. - Build relationships to effectively deliver Apple's message to developers while championing developer needs and issues within Apple. - Cultivate and share mobile industry and competitive landscape knowledge with peers and management, with particular emphasis on the Business segment within the App-ecosystem. - Work both independently and in close collaboration with others in Partnership Management, Technology Evangelism, Worldwide Product Marketing, App Store, Engineering, Retail, Sales and Business Markets. - Maintain a high level of business expertise, combined with a strong understanding of the tools and technologies relevant to mobile App development. - Promote the adoption of the iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS and macOS software development kit and other development tools with third-party app developers. - Attend appropriate industry events to stay abreast of segment trends and to capitalize on outreach opportunities. - Clearly communicate approved Apple product and marketing messages where appropriate. The position requires excellent relationship building, product management and account management skills, including the appropriate level of aggressiveness, persuasiveness and the ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization. You will be self-directed and have a track record of showing initiative in outbound partnering activities. The right candidate will also be results driven, will offer fresh perspectives and be a highly organized creative problem solver with a keen attention to detail. Remarkable follow-through and an ability to focus on strategic agendas while keeping day-to-day job activities current is a requirement.
Education & Experience
BS / BA degree preferred, MS / MA / MBA or equivalent a plus
