As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you’ll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). You’ll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you’ll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple’s devices. Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices. In this highly visible role and cross-functional role, you will be developing best in class signoff methodologies and flows for Apple silicon. As a Signoff Infrastructure Engineer, you will be developing web applications to support the signoff infrastructure used for the hardware design of our leading edge microprocessors.

Key Qualifications

  • Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience with web front-end and backend development of enterprise-level applications
  • Experience working with web application frameworks (e.g. LAMP, Django, Flask, Zend, Angular, node.js)
  • Working knowledge and experience with relational databases, high-performance SQL (MySQL preferred)
  • Knowledge of NoSQL (e.g. ElasticSearch, MongoDb, Cassandra, Redis, Splunk) and Big Data trends is a huge plus
  • Web development with the following: PHP, Java, Python, XML, Ajax, JavaScript/TypeScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Knowledge of CAD flows a huge plus


In this exciting multi-functional role, you will: - Develop and maintain signoff checks - Provide signoff infrastructure support - Collaborate with the design, IT and CAD teams to develop high-impact web applications to improve our productivity and design process - Enablement of design teams on signoff infrastructure including page generation, build list maintenance, and enhancement request tracking - Ability to work in a demanding, collaborative environment - Design / CAD information editor development / maintenance - Graphical user interface - Build-list queries, searches - Design and implementation of advanced data visualization methods, packages and APIs for semiconductor design metrics

Education & Experience

MS/BS Degree in technical discipline
