Be inspired every day as part of the world’s most successful global retailer. Apple is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support its rapidly evolving Apple Retail Marketing team. The ideal candidate is one who has been a top performer in his or her career with a proven track record of accomplishments. This role will serve as a key finance partner across all of Retail Marketing, driving forecasting and reporting on high visibility Retail programs as well as analytics and communication of key investments across the organization.

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a high performance and high growth organization
  • Hands-on financial experience performing modeling, forecasting, reporting and analysis
  • Must be able to think strategically on critical business issues, while simultaneously possessing the ability to act tactically to execute against them
  • Self-starter who anticipates business needs and thinks proactively; ability to work autonomously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of analysis in easy to understand business terms
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and consensus among cross-functional teams and at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a demanding and quickly changing environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with flawless attention to detail
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel required; strongly prefer experience with Tableau and enterprise software systems (SAP HANA / BPC, Essbase)

Description

The Analyst will be an integral part in the continued growth of Apple Retail, driving key retail programs and initiatives, including Today at Apple program, Commercial Marketing and Field Engagement. In addition to standard financial forecasting and budgeting, this position will provide consulting and strategic support for finance and business leadership. The ideal candidate is a flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business trade-offs, generate innovative solutions and manage uncertainty. Key responsibilities include: Collaborate with business partners to develop the annual operating expense plan in support strategic priorities, including the Today at Apple program, commercial marketing and field engagement. Support in-depth analysis on high visibility programs and their impact, including cross-functional work to provide holistic viewpoints and exec-level presentations on key performance indicators Provide critical thought leadership to business partners on budget management and key investment trade-offs Lead end-to-end forecast and close processes, including monthly forecasting, reporting and communication, and all quarter-close activities in close collaboration with key finance partners Implement continuous improvements to budgeting and forecasting processes, financial reporting procedures, and compliance / execution tools for the business

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business MBA a plus
